Before joining Supporting Lives, Dan began his career in the charity sector as a lived experience peer mentor after accessing support services himself. His personal journey into recovery inspired him to help others facing similar challenges. He later progressed into a relief support worker role, gaining valuable experience supporting individuals on their own recovery journeys.

In his role at Supporting Lives, Dan is passionate about helping people access the support they need, build a better understanding of themselves and work towards achieving their personal goals and aspirations. He believes that empathy, encouragement and lived experience can make a real difference in helping people rebuild their lives.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys sea and coarse fishing, gaming, and spending time watching films and TV series.
