I am a Housing Support Worker at Supporting Lives and joined the organisation in February 2026. I am proud to be part of the West Sussex team and am committed to making a positive and lasting contribution.
I am passionate about making a meaningful difference in people’s lives and supporting individuals to rebuild, grow, and thrive. I bring a strong background in homelessness and victim support, having previously worked as a Homeless Support Coordinator and in both paid and voluntary roles with Victim Support. Through this work, I supported individuals experiencing homelessness, trauma, complex needs, and substance misuse, as well as victims of crime, using a trauma-informed and holistic approach to help people navigate challenging circumstances.
I hold a degree in Social Science with Psychology, which enables me to apply both theory and practical knowledge in my day-to-day work. I am also trained in Complex Emotional Difficulties, Behavioural Change, and Domestic Abuse, and I strongly value ongoing training and professional development as a way to continually enhance my skills and understanding.
In my role, I work with clients in a compassionate, non-judgemental, and trauma-informed way, supporting them to build confidence, develop independence, strengthen existing skills, and work towards independent living. I am deeply committed to providing both emotional and practical support and feel privileged to work in a role that aligns so closely with my values.
Outside of work, I enjoy reading, arts and crafts, watching films and television series, and spending quality time with my family. My Shih-Tzu, Mylo, and my cat, Nikki, are very special to me and bring a great deal of joy to my life. Putting a smile on someone’s face is one of the most rewarding feelings there is, and it’s something I strive to do every day.
