Most recently, I joined Supporting Lives, beginning my first day on 1st July 2025. I’m excited to be part of a team making a real difference and look forward to the journey ahead.
With over 20 years of experience in the drug and alcohol sector—predominantly within the charitable space—I’ve dedicated my career to supporting individuals navigating homelessness, the criminal justice system, and building services that extend care and understanding to families affected by a loved one’s substance use. This work has continually reaffirmed my belief in the transformative power of empathy, community, and tailored support.
“As I step into this new role in West Sussex, I bring not only experience and knowledge but also a deep sense of purpose. I’m committed to shaping a service that empowers both clients and staff to achieve their full potential and embrace their aspirations. Over the years, I’ve witnessed the resilience of those navigating change and the powerful ripple effect that compassionate support can have on entire communities.”
I hold a City & Guilds Diploma in Leadership and Management for Adult Care, along with accredited qualifications in CBT therapy, Relationship therapy, and Bereavement therapy. I have also received specialist training from the police as a Restorative Justice Practitioner.
In this role, my goal is to contribute my experience, knowledge, and insight to help shape and develop this vital new service in West Sussex, supporting both clients and staff in reaching their goals. Being part of this initiative with Supporting Lives fills me with genuine hope for the future of those we serve.
Outside of work, I have a deep love for the outdoors—gardening, coastal and country walks, and discovering new places all bring me joy. Being in nature truly lifts my spirits. Time with my son and two grandchildren is especially precious, particularly as they live some distance away.
I also share my home with two rescued cats, Ronnie and Reggie, whom I found abandoned at just four weeks old at a motorway service station. They’ve been part of the family ever since.
Another big passion of mine is vehicles—both classic and modern. I hold an HGV Class 1 licence and recently purchased a truck, which I’m currently restoring for personal use.
I’m affectionately known as “the feeder”—always ready with sweet treats and goodies to share. I love bringing happiness to others through little gestures, whether it’s a homemade snack or a surprise indulgence to brighten someone’s day.
